Under the guidance of Self Realized Saint Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu, several social activities are running for the upliftment of the children in which several techniques of the Indian culture are being provided to make them Ojasvi (bright and intelligent),Tejasvi (powerful)and Yashasvi(successful). In all such activates the major activity is Balsanskar Kendra which are run all over the country.

Kids are like under-baked pots. If during the childhood itself qualities such as Bhakti, Dhyan (meditation), self Control are embedded in a child, then not only can the child achieve great heights in worldly activities but can also easily get supreme wisdom and self-realization, which is the ultimate aim of human life. Thus Balsanskar Kendra is a platform for this divine Seva.

 In 2001 Bapuji called upon all Mantra Dikshit Sadhaks to start regular classes by forming a BSK center wherever they are located. These centers are acting as the epicenters of moral education & character building for the children in their neighborhoods. Today there are over 18000 centers being run by such sadhaks & many more are helping them out in various ways.The BSK program has now a worldwide presence with centers running in major cities in countries like USA, Canada, UK, Dubai & Hong Kong.

‘Bal Sanskar Kendra’ is a channel through which knowledge and wisdom of our great saints and seers can be imparted to children. The end objective is to imbibe and enhance vital human qualities like determination and memory power. It also includes teaching techniques to augment concentration and brilliance of mind. 

‘Japa’ (incantation), meditation, ‘pranayam’(breathing techniques) awaken the latent energies of mind. Children should also be advised to respect their parents and obtain their blessings and learn to lead a happy, healthy and respectful life. They should be encouraged to become energetic and high-spirited. The intent of ‘sewa bhavu’ should be nurtured in the children and they should be encouraged to render service to society and nation when they grow up. 

This is a philanthropic initiative and no money is expected. You are only requested to pass on the benefits accrued to you through satsang and taking mantra diksha by doing sewa in return by opening a Bal Sanskar Kendra either yourself or encouraging someone else to do so. Such a good deed will help pass on the benefits of good living to others and bestow prosperity

Param Pujya Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu is a role model and a source of great inspiration to students across the world. The Gurukuls run by the Ashrams are learning centers where apart from materialistic knowledge, spiritual values are also taught and instilled. Such an approach helps in promoting the overall development of the students who are motivated to strive for excellence in whatever they embark on. Pujya Bapuji who is all merciful and kind, however, strongly advocates the concept of “Goodwill for all’. Therefore, for the progress and benefit of lakhs of students studying in other schools as well, Bapuji has initiated the ‘Divya Prerna Prakash’ spiritual knowledge competitions.

An uneducated person cannot contribute towards the progress of society as much as an educated person. But if the educated person is devoid of devotion to the Lord and has an antagonistic approach towards Indian culture, then in such a scenario, he can be even more dangerous than an uneducated person.

Hence, along with materialistic knowledge, it is pertinent to possess ‘Atma Vidya’ (knowledge of 'self’ or spiritual knowledge) as well, which is the Supreme form of knowledge. Knowledge should always implant values like empathy & compassion, and should bestow discriminative intellect. They are indeed fortunate who understand and value the importance of ‘Atma Vidya’.

In the year 2008 45500 students from 5066 schools all over the country participated in the Divya Prerana Prakash Gyan Pratiyogita and in the year 2009 the figures raised to 13,07,649 students from 12115 schools across the Nation.

Under the Divine Inspiration from Pujya Bapuji, in the year 2006 Sant Shri Asaramji Ashram in Ahmedabad launched formal teaching of invaluable treasures from our ancient philosophy through a new series of Yoga & Meditation Intensive camps called “Vidhyarthi Ujjawal Bhavishya Nirman Shibirs” (Bright Future building camps for students). Worldwide over 300 camps were held at more than 130 places including 4 cities in USA in the year 2006. Thereafter, such camps are being organized on regular basis every year.   

 

 These camps teach practical Yoga for healthy body & mind, Meditation & Prayers for peace & concentration besides increasing intellect & wisdom while having fun & games. Unique Yogasans & Yogic techniques to Increase height, IQ, Wisdom, Intelligence & leadership qualities are taught. Special Pranayams (breathing exercises) are taught that result in longevity & healthier life. The teachers of these camps have acquired first hand knowledge by attending intensive camps organized under the direct guidance of Bapuji & senior disciples.

One can conduct ‘Shivirs’ (Camps), once in every 2-3 months for instilling and nurturing constructive and divine values in students. One should motivate children of ‘Sadhakas’ (devotees) and also other children residing in the nearby vicinity to actively participate in such Shivirs.
