  • In case someone throws chemical colours on you, apply a mixture of gram flour, wheat flour, milk, turmeric and oil and wash it off quickly.
  • If lemon juice is rubbed on the affected parts before applying this mixture, it helps remove the stains more quickly and properly.
  • Apply coconut oil or mustard oil to the body before celebrating the festival so that the chemical colours do not have an adverse effect on the body
  • Eat 5-7 Neem leaves with Black pepper in these days of Holi, to increase the resistence against diseases in the body.
  • Take salt-less diet for 15-20 days after Holi (20th March'11). It purifies the blood and prevents the diseases of the heart, kidney, liver and skin.
